ALEXANDER PAYNE
Director/Academy Award-Winner
“[By] far the finest regional casting service I’ve ever worked with. Lisa, Angela and their team become true partners and stop at nothing to find the right talent and faces. They are thorough, thoughtful, tireless and delightful.”
SIAN HEDER
Director/Academy Award-Winner
“When I set out to make Coda, I wanted the town to be a character in the movie. It was important to me that every role in the film, from the Gloucester fishing community to the high school choir kids, felt as real and dimensional as the Rossi family. [Angela & Lisa were] passionate and tireless in finding the right local actors for these roles. In the end, we filled the movie with incredible talent that added a beautiful layer of authenticity and gave the story a sense of place. I loved working with Angela and Lisa, they were a lot of fun, amazing collaborators and I was lucky to have had this incredible casting team!”
DAVID O. RUSSELL
Academy Award-Nominated Director
“Given a choice between shooting a movie in Boston or an anonymous back lot, David O. Russell says the decision is simple: He’ll pick the Hub. There are many reasons Russell enjoys working in Boston, and local casting director Angela Peri is one of them. ‘I love her. I can get whatever I need,’ he says” (Boston Globe).
